I was please to see some green and neutral for Part 5, as it has helped to calm down my pinks and oranges.   Last year's Easy Street was in lovely colours for the winter, but in the summer it looked a bit odd.  I hope my Australian / New Zealand readers are appreciating the sunny colours I have used!

I have spent a lot of time trimming all the square units, so that I will be ready to go.  Having seen all the different ways that Celtic Solstice participants were storing their blocks, I thought I had better get my house in order. Once trimmed, I have stacked them up in a shoe box, ready for OFF!

    I love your block layout and if it isn't part of Bonnie's design it really should be considered for a future quilt. Your colours really are quite yummy!

    Yes, as an Aussie reader I'm enjoying your summer colours. It is amazing how much sewing one can get through when not having to work or prepare for Christmas :)

    Hello Frances, oh I like your layout I need to go to my sewing room and try it in my colors. But what to do with clue #1? Borders? I am amazed at your percentile calculations good idea I think I am close to 50% done then.

    I have had a few problems with my last block, all because I forgot to trim my half square triangles! So I have a busy day ahead of me.

    I think that all of the good adjectives describing your fabrics have been taken already, and I agree with every single one of them. I also agree with your theory regarding the likelihood of Bonnie sneaking in an extra clue early this week.

    I love your block and your colors. I wanted to add pink-took out the yellow I think and didn't care for it. Without the blue it is perfect!

    Neat that you took the time to figure out the math. I can see how you think there is a part 6, but didn't she say there would be borders at the end? That might be the last 14%. I'm hoping. I'm ready to start assembling.
